Wow, fantastic stuff! Love all the action and detail happening here, I could spend hours staring at them. *****

This needs to go in the Finished 2D though, I can't remember how to change that so will leave that up to someone who won't make the thread disappear

Superb,
That's very different from what I've seen here before because there is no "main subject" in these pictures, you have to look everywhere, that's filled with details, and that's great !

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forums James and welcome to the header !

Fabulous paintings with so much going on in them the viewer will need to really study them and absorb them.
Out of the 3 I like the first one the best.

As a matter of interest, how big are the originals ?
Do you do these works on canvas or some other surface ?

PS I moved the thread for you to the right section, so no worries about accidently putting it in the wrong one.

An impressive trio of paintings. I am always impressed with the incredible details in your work.

The scenes featuring soldiers in camo in matching surroundings are handled very well. The very nature of their clothing makes the figures want to blend in with their surroundings. You masterfully make tham stand out with your command of the light.

Congratulations on the header.

Wow - whatta site! When I graduated for Art Center- long ago in the last century, one of my teachers( or was it an Art director??? I forget, whoever it was was clairvoient ...)said ' If world War one ever comes around again , you might make a living!" Too true, but I've muddled through, with a little help from my friends...
I stumbled over here to see about getting digital backgrounds for my favorite Sims :Il-2 & Rise of Flight , but found so much more! I cannot give you guys enough praise...money ...no praise yes!
BTW I work on canvas ...yes with brushes & work is usually about 30"x60"
