Dahlberg's Day

I have actually posted this before but somehow managed to delete the thread! Anyway, thought I'd give it another try.....this is my first traditional painting in 15 years, painted acrylics on canvas, size approx 19.9x 15.7...It depicts Ken Dahlberg shooting down one of three Bf-109s during the winter of 1944.

Great work! Although it's painted one can still recognize your style.

Congrats on a well deserved header!

This is a fantastic piece Gareth. No signs at being rusty at all after a long break from painting. Your lighting and style is easily recognizable in your painting for those of us who have viewed you digital artwork over the past few years.

Congrats on the header, well done !
