Canopy Reflections

Hello
I have a WIP of an F-86 (far from over as you can see..).
My question is this: can anyone give me some points (or direct to it) about how to make realistic looking canopies, with glass reflections, colour etc.?
Thanks to all
PS: I work in Photoshop

Jim Laurier's technique is simple but effective I think. http://www.jimlaurier.com/digital/yaeger.jpg

His work shows up a lot in the Osprey Aces series of book and my favorite profile artist.

I'd agree with Kevin, Jim Laurier is one of the best profile artists out there, the other guy I would recommend looking at it is Claes Sundin's work, I don't think anyone puts as much detail into their profiles as him - http://hem.passagen.se/galland/

Just a bit of an update here (I'd not looked at this thread before - a bit surprising as I really like profile work, including yours JP). Claes Sundin's site has moved to: http://luftwaffeinprofile.se - I gather he has just released a book featuring his latest work; there's a lovely new profile of a BF110D on the site....
