Lets try the opposite
Lets do a collaborative effort to model/texture/render and or animate a project.
I will lets the management decide if they want to do it and how they would fill it in.
But I can do some suggestions to get the creative juices flowing.
Lets do a development-simulation.
First we need to set up someone as the juror.
He plays the role of the government that decides who gets what.
He is also the one who makes the design-brief.
For example:
1. he issues a design-brief that states that his government needs a fighter that can do mach 2 and can carry loads of rockets.
2. different member poses as different companies ( non-existing ones only please) and they draw all kinds of big fast looking jets carrying loads of rockets.
3. The juror selects the best design or the meanest looking or whatever floats his boat ( brides included

)
4.The winning design becomes the collective project.
5. Someone makes a low poly version as a base for the others to work from.
6. Others are free to make changes to the base-plane, all are different-version numbers or upgrades. Or chances to fit new mission-profiles or to correct errors in the base-design. All these things happen in real-life too.
7. The fun part is that people can learn from others how they model something, and hopefully can learn something from it. It can help lift people to a higher level then they could on their own. It also could motivate people to finish a project which is bigger then what they do normally. The interaction between team-members could learn teach some people how to work in a team and how to take critics on their work just like in a professional environment.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Cheers,
Rob
